I have been a patient of Dr. Maggie Scheessele for the past 2 months due to a knee issue. She has helped me greatly. Her knowledge base is exceptional and every time she treated me she provided me with exercises and techniques to strengthen my body. Dr Scheessele answered all my questions and provided additional information on my self care. She was positive and patient with me. The facility did a great job of practicing appropriate COVID guidelines during this time. The physical therapists are all amazing and really invest in getting you to your end goal. The environment was really relaxed and calming and the physical therapist gives you all of their attention for 45 min. 10/10 recommend.read more

My experience at DHPT was exceptional. The staff was kind, friendly and willing to work around my schedule. My therapist, Ms. Scheessele, was extremely knowledgeable and specifically designed a program for my unique condition. After completion, I am better than new and feel amazing. I cannot recommend DHPT enough. It was my first time doing PT, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the experience exceeded my expectations. I came in for a running-related injury, but I wasn't sure exactly what was causing it. Dr. Kimberly Stanford was incredibly knowledgable and spent a lot of time trying to understand the root of my injury in a wholistic way. I've honestly never had any other health professional be so thorough and thoughtful. The exercise plan she gave me to work on at home has already made a huge difference. The staff was so nice, and the facility was great. I was nervous going in during covid because we have a newborn at home, but it was super clean, everyone wore masks, and they are limiting how many clients are seen at a time to keep everyone distant. Megan Cassidy has literally changed my quality of life. I had a variety of difficult and complicated injuries that I have been dealing with for years. The wide ranging knowledge that Megan has; and the perfect balance of professionalism and relatability. She’s one of the most important people I’ve ever met, that has profoundly changed my life for the better. I’ll be forever indebted to the difference Megan has made for me. From barely being able to walk up the driveway, to walking miles and miles, and being able to travel. The mobility I’ve gained, and the reduction in pain I’ve experienced through consistent progress over a long period of time. I’ll never forget Megan, for the rest of my life. Thank you.

Places with only 5 stars are scams or really really good. This is without question just that good. One on one treatment, very friendly staff, accepts insurance. I'm just starting but have experienced a few physical therapy locations and this one seems different, and I was happy with the other locations.

Update: After nearly a year, losing 60 lbs, dedicated twice weekly visits. I have graduated. While I still have some bad days. I am a different person in terms of resilience, I don't tell myself no and I am not suffering ever. Thanks for providing an avenue for my body to heal, strengthen and all the while smiling because of the good people y'all have! Honestly, a bit sad to lose this place but will find a new home for activity.

So far, loving my experience at Druid Hills Physical Therapy! I am coming off of a pretty intense ankle surgery and was reluctant to start PT. I had started at a different PT office and didn't feel comfortable with them, didn't find I got anything out of our sessions and stopped going. I decided to give this office a try and I am so glad that I did. I work with Dr. Elizabeth and she is thorough and knowledgeable about everything she is explaining and having you do. The staff as a whole from front desk to the other therapists are all extremely welcoming and nice. Highly recommend!
