Megan Cassidy is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation. She is an expert in working with various musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and young athletes, specifically runners.
Megan earned a Bachelor of Science in Adult Fitness from Montclair State University in 2003. There she competed as a hurdler on the track and field team. She went on to earn her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, and worked as a personal trainer and a high-school track and field coach.
Megan graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 2010 and has specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation since. She obtained her Certified Integrated Manual Therapist certification in 2017, and is trained in advanced manual techniques including trigger point dry needling and taping. Megan implements a whole-body approach to her evaluation and assessments in order to find the driving cause of each patient’s pain and dysfunction. She utilizes this information to develop a comprehensive individualized program that integrates innovative treatments in order to achieve each individual’s greatest level of comfort and function.
